QHDC supporting Aussie farmers August 02, 2018 - Posted in: News

Thanks to the company directors Wayne Sully, David Sully and Carol Schulze, QHDC Australia has jumped on board with supporting the ‘Buy a Bale’ campaign, driven by Rural Aid Australia.

A much needed and worthy fundraiser for Australian Farmers, the ‘Buy a Bale’ fundraiser campaign has been supporting drought stricken farmers nationwide since June 2013. After a devastating drought period in Queensland, which destroyed countless cattle and even drove some farmers from their land, it was decided by a small team to take a stand and start raising the funds so desperately needed to buy goods for the affected farmers.

QHDC is proud to donate $5,000 towards the cause and is delighted that our small contribution will bring a big reprieve for the struggling farmers around Australia, providing meaningful support and delivering much needed hay bales for their livestock who face the dire situation of having limited or no feed at all.

As a business we recognise the importance of supporting our community of farmers. Without their continual success and sustainability in the industry the rest of the country will suffer. We urge others to get on board with this cause and implore you to find more information on the official website www.buyabale.com.au.
